Sales Leader

Location  –  Cape Winelands, near Paarl

We are seeking a results-driven energetic professional, who will be responsible for spearheading the task to successfully distribute the company’s product range in the Southern African Market.
 
The successful candidate is primarily tasked to deal with customers within his team environment, attending to own clientele and supporting and leading the sales teams queries. Driving sales and increasing the profit line. The individual will be required to travel on a regular basis. 

 

Candidate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and implement a strategic sales development plan that expands the company’s customer base; coordinating with marketing on lead generation and increasing new business.

  • Recruiting, setting, tracking, meeting and monitoring planned sales goals & targets.

  • Understand our ideal customers (target audiences) and how they relate to our products & service offerings. 

  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs (sales networking & CRM).

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. 

  • Developing the sales team through motivation and coaching; perform ongoing training of the sales team. 

  • Overseeing sales activities and performance of the team.

 

Reports to the Managing Director.  The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way.

 

Successful candidates requirements:

  • Educational qualification in business or related field.

  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.

  • Experience in customer relationship management.

  • Experience managing and directing a sales team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Dedication to providing great customer service.

  • Mechanical / Electrical engineering knowledge preferential.

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

  • Analytical skills: Use data-driven reports to spur sales coaching sessions and empower reps to take ownership of their opportunity pipelines. Understand pricing, margins and discounting impacts.

  • Integrity and trust: Never ask reps to do something immoral, illegal, or something that goes against the company’s core values.

  • Must be presentable, fit, professional and well dressed at all times.

Electrical Engineer NQF 4-6

Location  –  Cape Winelands, near Paarl

We are seeking a results-driven energetic professional, who has the ability to perform at NQF level 4 – 6 (formal qualification not a prerequisite).
 
The successful candidate is primarily tasked to deal with design, costing, fault finding and administration within the electrical motor control and operation sector of the pump industry. The individual will be required to attend to on-site investigations when needed. 

 

Successful candidates requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12

  • Trustworthy

  • Hard working

  • Technically minded

  • Computer literate

  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar position

  • Mechanical / Electrical knowledge essential

  • Valid driver’s licence

  • Own reliable transport

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
